A new food waste recycling service is coming to all households in Staffordshire throughout 2026. This will be happening in all eight Staffordshire districts and boroughs.
Once launched, residents will be able to recycle their food waste every week from home, thanks to a new service we are required to roll out, as part of the government’s ‘Simpler Recycling’ initiative.
Our Food Waste communications toolkit provides key information about the initiative, why it is happening, FAQs and ready-to-use promotional tools you can use to help ensure Staffordshire residents are fully aware of the new food waste service, why it’s happening and why people should participate.
